Chaos: migration of IT
We find ourselves in the midst of IT chaos (GigaOm “Changing Technology”), caused by change: rapid change in consumer preferences, a volatile economic environment, and a confused hodgepodge of old-school static infrastructure mixed with new technological mobility. It’s because of a lack in resources, coordination, autonomy, and innovation to be able to respond. So again, what is missing? The ability to collaborate, the tools to solve problems and the means to innovate.
Responding to Chaos
Only a minority of companies spot these changes quickly and (more importantly) fewer are able to respond rapidly. In fact, it could be argued that if your company is not the quickest at spotting the changes but is the fastest at responding, you’ll still get to the finish line first.

It gives you the ability to tie everything together and make it flow. It lets you do it fast. And it lets you do almost everything without expensive technical staff or long training.
